About these terms

These terms apply to lendcedar.com and every page, calculator and form on it. “LendCedar,” “we,” “our” and “us” refer to the business that runs this site; “you” means anyone who uses it. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the site. The Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information and is part of these terms.

What LendCedar is and is not

LendCedar publishes educational information about personal installment loans and lets visitors send a loan request to lenders and loan brokers who work with us. Those companies pay us for the requests we pass to them (How we make money).

LendCedar is not a lender, not a loan broker and not a government agency. We do not make credit decisions, quote rates, approve loans, arrange loan terms or act as your agent. We do not rank or endorse lenders. Any loan offer comes from a lender or loan broker, on its own terms, and any agreement you sign is between you and that company. LendCedar never charges you a fee to get a loan.

No promise of an offer

Sending a loan request does not mean that anyone will contact you, make you an offer or lend to you. Whether you receive an offer, and its amount, rate, fees and term, depends on each lender’s own review. You are free to turn down any offer. Read the lender’s disclosures and agreement before you accept, and check its license as described on Licensing.

Accuracy of information

We work to keep our pages accurate and dated, and we fix errors we confirm (see the editorial policy). Even so, a law can change after our last check, and any page can hold an error we have not caught. Calculator results and worked examples are illustrations, not offers. The information on the site is general and is not legal, tax or financial advice; see the Disclaimer.

Information you send

When you send a form, you agree that the information is true, is your own and describes your own request. Do not submit information about another person or a phone number that is not yours.

Consent to be contacted

The loan request form includes a consent box that is not checked in advance. If you check it and send the form, you allow LendCedar, and lenders and loan brokers working with LendCedar, to reach you about this request through calls, texts and emails sent to the phone number and email address on the form. Those calls and texts may use an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice, which can be AI-generated. Agreeing is not required to buy any product or service. Your carrier’s charges for messages and data may apply. The exact text you agree to is shown next to the button on the form.

How to withdraw consent. You may withdraw it at any time by any reasonable means: text back STOP, say so during any call, or write to [email protected] or through the contact form. We forward opt-outs we receive by email or the contact form to the lenders and loan brokers that received your request, and opt-outs are honored within 10 business days. Any lender or broker that reaches you can also be told directly to stop.

Acceptable use

When you use the site, you agree not to:

• send false information, or a request in someone else’s name;
• use the forms to send spam, advertising or harmful code;
• try to get around Cloudflare Turnstile or other protections, or overload the site;
• copy or scrape the site in bulk by automated means;
• use the site for anything unlawful.

We may block access or discard submissions that break these rules.

Content and intellectual property

The text, calculators, tables, illustrations and design of LendCedar belong to LendCedar or are used with permission. For your own noncommercial use, you are welcome to read and print pages and to share their links. A brief quotation is fine when it credits LendCedar and links back. Republishing, bulk copying or commercial use requires our written permission. Statutes and government materials we link to belong to their publishers.

Links to other sites

Pages link to statutes, regulators, federal agencies and other sites, and lenders or brokers who contact you may send you to their own sites. Those sites are run by others, and their content, offers and privacy practices are their own responsibility.

No warranties

We offer the site and its content without warranties of any kind. As far as the law permits, LendCedar makes no promise of any kind, stated or implied, about whether the content is complete, up to date or right for your purpose, or that the site will always be available and free of errors.

Limits on our liability

As far as the law permits, LendCedar will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses tied to your use of this site, to decisions you base on what you read here, or to anything a lender, loan broker or other company does or offers. Where a state does not allow some of these limits, they apply only as far as that state allows. These terms do not take away any right that the law says cannot be waived.

Governing law

Texas law governs these terms, together with any federal law that applies, regardless of conflict-of-law rules that might point to another state’s law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes apply from that date to your later use of the site; they do not change a consent you already gave unless you agree again.
